Synopsis
After witnessing a bizarre and traumatic incident involving a patient, the psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is being threatened by a mysterious entity. A couple of days before the film’s September 30, 2022 release, the film’s actors showed up at various baseball games, sitting behind home plate motionless and smiling while staring into the camera, unmoving despite the understandably concerned fans in the audience, while wearing Smile T-shirts. When the glass is shown at her feet she is wearing socks. A few seconds later and she was checking the door while wearing lace-ups. Based on what happens next at a party, there are several continuity issues that may not be “mistakes”; but could actually be intentional to show “breaks” in Rose’s consciousness/sanity..

I went into this movie with no prior expectations or even after seeing the teasers. The story was unique, the production was very nice. The entire cast did a great job acting, especially the lead actress.
I can’t wait to check out more of her work
There were a decent amount of solid jump scares throughout the movie, and I’m not one to get scared easily. The movie also had a very omnipotent vibe from the start, which greatly enhanced the experience of watching it. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie and consider it one of the best horror movies I’ve seen this year!
