Course 13: SQL Server 2019 administration
Description Students who have attended our previous courses know that we like to delve into every technology we work on, so to meet this need we develop courses in large series and this course chain helps students not only understand the technology itself, but also confidently apply in their business, prepare for interviews and update their skills. This SQL series consists of 3 courses with over 30 hours of intensive training. These courses are: Course 11: SQL Server 2019 Windows Server 2019 & Fail over listening. Course 12: SQL Server 2019 Linux & Blue sky. Course outline: Before checking the course outline, we would like to add a very important note that the network and infrastructure used in the course is Course 1: Windows Server 2019 Network Setup – Microsoft series, where we created the virtual environment for all the courses we have developed so far.
Why did we do it?
Simply because we don’t want to waste your time creating the Source VM, network adapters, router and other infrastructure over and over again. We want to provide REAL-TIME Industry experience by integrating different technologies into one BIG NETWORK and enable students to apply computer and technology skills in learning and problem solving. Now let’s discuss the course outline in detail. This is SQL Fundamentals course for beginners which consists of theory and LABS. This course is divided into 4 parts: Segment 1: Prepare your network to install SQL SERVER 2019 on Windows Server 2019 In segments 1 to 4, you will learn: – New features in SQL Server 2019 – Prerequisites for installing SQL Server 2019 on an existing network that we created together in Course 1: Windows Server 2019 Network Setup – Microsoft Series – Install a Single SQL Server 2019 Instance 1, SQL Server Management studio 18 – Perform Remote Access and Create Snapshots.
Module 2: “Data Modeling” describes a number of data modeling techniques
Segment 2: Organizing Basics for Special Topics From Section 5 to Section 9, this segment teaches database basics. As an administrator, you need to know all the terminology related to databases in order to better administer the product. We’ll learn the basics of the following topics: Module 1: “Introduction to Databases” introduces key database concepts in the context of SQL Server 2019. Module 3: “Normalization” introduces the concept of normalization and describes normalization and denormalization techniques. Module 4: “Relationships” describes the different types of relationships and their effects in database design.
Module 5: “Performance” describes the performance implications of database design
Module 6: “Database Objects” introduces a commonly used database object. ** Expect to have some theories that may be a bit boring. Segment 3: Let’s Practice with Lots and Lots of LABS Segment 4: SQL Server 2019 Fail over Clustering Starting with segment 11, we’ll do the following LABS A- Create Domain Service Accounts B- SQL Server 2019 C 1. Fail over deploy your cluster instance – Deploy 2 fail over SQL Server cluster 2019 instance D- Test SQL Server 2019 Fail over cluster reliability. E- Migrate DB from single SQL Server 2019 to SQL Server 2019 failover cluster to achieve high availability.
