Synopsis
He’s smart
He’s adorable. This is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During Season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas.
His son David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in the second season, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side intact.

Over the years, my eyes adjusted, until darkness became my world and I could see. Main ThemeWritten by Rolfe KentPerformed by Rolfe Kent. Dexter, a forensic scientist by day, a serial killer with a touch of vigilance by night.
Rita, a mother of two and victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend
Dexter creates a believable and very detailed portrait of a sociopath, let’s say troubled. One of the parts of the show that I like the most is the emotions that normal people express, forcing Dexter to imitate them. It’s funny when Dexter’s fake emotions become real and he gets scared, like in the relationship with his “girlfriend”.
A gripping story, lots of details and one of the best opening sequences of all time
I also liked Jennifer Carpenter’s performance as Debra, Dexter’s sister, which adds a nice touch of color to the show, without falling into clichés.
