Paul King, the director of the previous two films, has decided not to direct this installment
Synopsis

With the Brown family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery takes them on an unexpected journey.. However, he came up with the idea for this third film and joined as an executive producer..
This is another jungle adventurebut with a bear
Featured in Graham Norton and guests: Billy Crystal/Emily Mortimer/Hugh Bonneville/Pharrell Williams/Michael Kiwanuka (2024). If you, like me, agree that the first two Paddington films are among the greatest films ever made, then this will be both a fun must-see and a disappointment. Because it’s about Paddington adjusting to life with a family in London or #39; How a normal family adapts to living with a bear loses its original charm and certainly its humor.
We could say that we need Sally Hawkins, but what’s the point?
It has a different feel to it – more sensitive and not significantly funny. As a jaded old Marx Brothers fan like me, I can say that the first two were funny, and this is definitely a family movie aimed at kids. We could say that we need more of the Brown family and their neighbors.
More of a family fun than a funny, quirky, cutesy romp
We had it all in the first two and they were so… dare I say, perfect, there’s no point in trying to copy them. So yes, this is different, it’s terribly sentimental at times and nothing funny at all, but it’s still Paddington.
