I just had the privilege of seeing it tonight, in a preview before the actual release, and I can say that I was very happy and relieved to see these stories told so well and despite the mountains, this is not a documentary. research and effort to reproduce some of the aspects depicted. Probably the best and most mature non-meta Romanian film. Go out and support it by seeing it in theaters from October 6th, it’s definitely worth watching if you’re even remotely interested in Romanian films, stories inspired by history – or great films in general!
