A grieving therapist starts telling his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he makes big changes in people’s lives, including his own. The cast of “Shrinking” shares their best character moments from Season 1 and reveals who has the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted “a Harrison Ford type” and that he was going to audition people who were like Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they should at least bring it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, generating interest from other notable actors. In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he was elated nonetheless.
His dry delivery is absolutely the best
Harrison Ford is simply amazing in this show! His charming demeanor and sharp tongue are now my life’s purpose as I enter my senior years. It’s hysterical, and I need more of that in my life!
This show is beautifully written
Plus, if you’re a Jason Segel fan, you won’t be disappointed. It has well-rounded characters facing real issues. It hits all the right notes and makes you want more each week.
