In US government agencies, including the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, the correct/official explanation for the acronym “OBE” is “Overcome By Events”.. I don’t understand all the negativity in the reviews, yes, its pacing isn’t Bourne-esque, but it’s exciting, superbly acted and holds your attention.
Fassbender is great again, and unlike most spy dramas, he’s actually quite believable
I haven’t seen the French original before this, so forgive me if I don’t give a comparison, but it would be a shame if any negative comparison would prevent you from enjoying it. Maybe the pacing issues come from the binge-watching culture, it’s probably slow if you want to watch a few episodes in one sitting, but I honestly don’t see any issues with that.
