Featured AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022) Watched the first two episodes and there’s a clear attempt to create a "Goonies in Space" show here, what’s wrong with that? I enjoyed the look and feel of what a suburban town in this world would look like, since we’ve never seen one.

The town they come from reminded me of the neighborhood from E. The 4 main characters are generic but likable, each with their own clearly defined roles within the group and are well-executed by the actors.
If this was an 80s movie it would fit right in
The pirate vibe is definitely not something we’ve seen before and adds a bit of a spooky element and a dangerous atmosphere. So far I’ve been enjoying it for the new story elements in the Star Wars universe, the hints of nostalgia for the movies from my childhood and the fact that I can share this Star Wars experience with my kids.
