Synopsis
A ranching family in Montana stands up against others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned hand in the world of rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) frequently seems to “forget.” He loses his Montana accent and goes back to the SoCal speaking voice he normally uses. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows You Don’t Have on Your Radar (2018). I don’t think anyone does Western movies better than Kevin Costner, and with Taylor Sheridan as the writer, it’s a win-win for viewers. Check out “Wind River” for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where has Cole Hauser been hiding? He’s amazing. I think the daughter is a necessary part, but she’s over the top at being a bitch. The scenery is fantastic, and being from Colorado, I get to really enjoy the wide, beautiful land. Do yourself a favor and get excited about this series because it will be a winner.
